Custom Mirrors in Cache Valley, Utah
The right mirror makes a room feel twice its size, and a mirror cut to fit looks like it was built with the house instead of hung on it. T&K Glass cuts and installs custom mirrors across Logan and all of Cache Valley: bathroom and vanity mirrors, full-length and wall mirrors, closet and gym mirrors, and custom shapes and sizes. We are a family-owned glass shop in Hyde Park, and mirrors are a natural fit for what we already do all day, which is measure, cut, and set glass right. Free estimates. Call (435) 258-5456.
Off-the-shelf mirrors come in a handful of sizes and one style: framed and small. When you want a mirror that fills the wall above a double vanity, wraps a home gym, or fits an odd nook exactly, that is custom work, and that is us.
Mirrors we make and install
Bathroom and vanity mirrors. The most-requested job. A large, edge-to-edge mirror over the vanity is one of the cheapest upgrades that makes a bathroom look finished and modern. We cut it to your wall, finish the edges, and mount it solidly. Pair it with a new shower enclosure and the whole room reads like a remodel.
Full-length and wall mirrors. Big statement mirrors for bedrooms, entryways, and living spaces that bounce light around and open up a room. We handle the size and weight that make these awkward to buy and hang yourself.
Home gym and dance mirrors. Large mirror walls for a home gym, garage setup, or a dancer's practice space. These are big panels that need proper safety backing (a film on the back that holds the glass together if it is ever struck) and secure mounting into the wall studs; done right they read as one continuous wall, done wrong they are a hazard. This is exactly the kind of install worth handing to a glass shop.
Closet, door, and hallway mirrors. Mirrors mounted to closet doors, the back of a bedroom door, or down a narrow hall to make the space feel wider.
Custom shapes, sizes, and edges. Round, arched, or a rectangle cut to an exact opening. We cut mirror to your measurements and finish the edges cleanly (ask about beveled edges for a more decorative look). If you have a specific size or shape in mind, bring it to us.
Where a custom mirror earns its keep
If you are not sure a mirror is worth it, here is where they pay off the most in real homes around the valley:
- Over a double vanity. Two small mirrors over a two-sink vanity almost always looks unfinished. One large mirror spanning the whole counter instantly reads as a remodel, and it is one of the least expensive ways to get that result.
- A dark or small room. A big mirror placed across from a window doubles the daylight in the room. In north-facing bedrooms and tight Logan bungalow rooms, that is a real, felt difference, not just a decorator's trick.
- Entryways and hallways. A full-length or wide mirror near the door makes a cramped entry feel open and gives everyone a last look on the way out.
- A home gym. A proper mirror wall lets you check form, makes the space feel serious, and turns a corner of the garage or basement into a real workout room. This is the one people most often try to DIY and most often should not, because of the size and the mounting.
- Closet doors. Mirrored closet or bedroom doors add function and openness without taking an inch of floor space.
If your idea is not on this list, it probably still works; these are just the ones we get asked for week in and week out.
How custom mirror work goes
- Free estimate: (435) 258-5456. For a straightforward mirror we can often ballpark from your measurements and a photo of the wall. For larger installs, gym walls, or anything mounting into tricky framing, we will measure in person.
- We cut your mirror to size. Mirror is cut and edge-finished to your measurements. Custom sizes and shapes have a short lead time; simpler cuts can move quickly.
- Installation. We mount the mirror securely, level, and flush, using the right backing and hardware for the size and location. For big or heavy mirrors, proper mounting is the whole game, and it is what you are really paying a glass shop for. We clean up and take the packaging with us.

Why a cut-to-fit mirror beats a store-bought one
Two reasons, and both are practical. First, size: the mirror that would actually change how your bathroom or bedroom feels is almost never a size the store carries, so people settle for too-small and it always looks like an afterthought. A custom cut fills the space the way it should. Second, mounting: large mirrors are heavy and unforgiving, and a big mirror that is not anchored into solid backing is both a crooked eyesore and a genuine safety risk over a sink or in a gym. We size it right and we hang it right, which is the difference between "nice mirror" and "did you remodel?"
We install mirrors throughout Cache Valley: Logan, North Logan, Hyde Park, Smithfield, Providence, Nibley, Millville, Hyrum, and the surrounding towns, plus Box Elder County, the Bear Lake area, southern Idaho, and down toward Ogden. New build, remodel, or just finally replacing the builder-grade mirror clipped to the wall, we will make it fit.
What custom mirrors cost
Mirror work sits at the more affordable end of what we do. Our jobs overall run $200 to $15,000, and most residential mirrors are near the low end of that. The price comes down to:
- Size (bigger mirrors use more material and more hands to set)
- Edge finish (a standard polished edge vs. a decorative bevel)
- Shape (a straight rectangle vs. a custom shape or curve)
- Mounting (a simple wall vs. a full gym wall or an install into difficult framing)
A big mirror still costs a fraction of most remodels while changing a room as much as anything you can buy. The estimate is free: (435) 258-5456.
Keeping a mirror clear in Cache Valley water
Our hard water is as tough on mirrors as it is on shower glass. Two practical notes we pass along to every mirror customer. First, in a bathroom, watch the bottom edge: standing water and mineral splash attack the silvering at the edges over the years, which is what causes those dark spots that creep in from the corners of old mirrors. A cut mirror with a clean, sealed edge and a little clearance above the backsplash holds up far better than one sitting in splash. Second, for cleaning, a glass cleaner sprayed on the cloth rather than straight onto the mirror keeps liquid from running down into the bottom edge, which is where the damage starts. None of this is a reason to hesitate; it is just how you get twenty good years out of a mirror instead of ten. We will point out the right placement when we install.
Mirror questions we hear a lot
How much does a custom mirror cost?
It depends mostly on size and edge finish, but residential mirrors sit at the affordable end of our work. We will give you a real number at the free estimate; for a simple mirror we can often ballpark from your measurements and a photo.
Can you cut a mirror to a specific size or shape?
Yes. We cut mirror to your exact measurements and can do custom shapes and edge finishes, including polished and beveled edges. Bring us the size or the opening and we will match it.
Do you install the mirror, or just supply it?
Both. We can supply a cut mirror or measure, cut, and install it for you. For large or heavy mirrors, and for gym walls, we strongly recommend our install so it is mounted safely and level.
Can you hang a large gym or dance mirror wall?
Yes. Large mirror walls need proper safety backing and secure mounting, which is exactly the kind of install a glass shop should handle rather than a DIY hanging.
Do you do mirrors and shower glass in the same visit?
We do, and it is a smart combo during a bathroom remodel. Ask about matching a custom mirror to your new shower enclosure so it all gets measured and installed together.
How soon can you get a mirror in?
Simple cuts can move quickly, while custom shapes and large gym walls have a short lead time for the material. Tell us your timeline when you call and we will give you a real date, not a guess.
